Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut's career in the film industry has seen significant growth over the years. While the actress has played some substantial roles, she has also been objectified in a few films. Reflecting on this, she recently addressed a viral video from her past shared by a fan page and questioned if objectification was a “wrong decision” on her part. Since her Bollywood debut in 2006, Kangana Ranaut has delivered several noteworthy performances, showcasing her acting prowess in several films. While she has been consistent in her performances, she has also been a part of films like Rascals and Double Dhamaal, where her role added little value.

Some years ago, Kangana Ranaut was recorded discussing the reception of her prior films Rascals and Double Dhamaal. These films were in the comedy genre, and Kangana's involvement was limited to supporting roles. Kangana was recorded saying in a clip of an interview that was shared on her fan page's Instagram account, “Life mein kabhi na kabhi har koi ek wrong decision leta hai, I did too. Kuch log kehte hai ki woh wrong decisions hai par mein nahi maanti. Log kehte hai ki tumhe Rascals jaisi film, Double Dhamaal jaisi film nahi karni chahiye thi… you deserve better. Ha, lekin jab mere option koi kaam nahi bachi thi toh maine kisi kaam ko chota nahi samjha.” Moreover, she explained that it was part of her plan, as she used the earnings from those films to create a short film in California and to pursue a course at the New York Film Academy.

Meanwhile, apart from this, Kangana had announced the wrap of Emergency. The film has piqued the curiosity among viewers. The actress, who is also donning the director’s hat, will essay the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. In the pipeline, she also has Tejas’ Manikarnika Returns: The Legend of Didda, The Incarnation: Sita, a biopic on Bengali theatre personality Noti Binodini and Chandramukhi 2.
