Actors resorting to surgeries to look better isn’t something new in Bollywood. Out of these, carrying out a nose job is one of the most well-known ones. But actress Yami Gautam Dhar has made it clear that she is never going to resort to such practices, although there are people who advise her for the same.

Speaking to Indian Express, Yami revealed, “I was advised to get a nose job! There are so many advice floating around.” She added, “What is people’s obsession with others faces? There are girls, people who take it seriously. I feel very bad because you have to look at yourself every day and work. Sometimes if some things go wrong…”

Yami also believes that people’s choices in such matters should also be respected. “I mean, it is a personal choice, to each his own, I am no one to comment on anybody else,” she added. “But I feel it is not right. If you want to do something, that should be your choice. It shouldn’t be coming from anyone, that, ‘Oh, this is what you need to do so then you will get cast or look better.’ I don’t agree with all those things.”

Yami is currently basking in the rave reviews for her latest film Chor Nikal Ke Bhaga and her performance in it. She is cast with Sunny Kaushal in the Netflix movie. Directed by Ajay Singh, the film is produced by Amar Kaushik, who is known for directing Stree, Bala and Bhediya.

In fact, Sunny also revealed recently that even he was once asked to do a nose job. “I have a nose like ‘pakore’ and someone asked me to do something about it. But I flatly refused,” he said.
