Riding high on the success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan is gearing up for his next release, Shehzada. He is ready to kick off 2023 on a grand note. Starring alongside Kriti Sanon, the duo returns on screen after their 2019 film Luka Chuppi. As the promotions are on in full swing, the actor reached the sets of Rajat Sharma’s show Aap Ki Adalat where he talked about his success in Bollywood and what Salman Khan told him once about creating history.

During an hour-long conversation, Kartik Aaryan was asked about the secret behind his films’ success at the box office. The actor recalled what Salman Khan once told him at a party. “I can say what Salman Khan once told me, whom I normally meet at parties. He told me, ‘When your film becomes a hit when others succeed, it’s not a great thing (maza nahi aata), but when all other films flop and yours become a hit, then history is created. I asked Salman Sir, is this a compliment, or are you scaring me? Instead of replying, he hugged me,” he said.

“Salman sir ‘hamesha chidhaate rahte hain’ (always pokes fun at me), but I am secretive. I will not reveal the secret why my films become hits. Here’s an actor who is talented, does his roles well, can dance well, can do good comedy and action, where can you find such an all-rounder? How can a film flop, when you have a mixture of all these?” added Karitk Aaryan.

On the work front, Kartik Aaryan has an interesting line-up for the coming year with multiple projects being in his kitty, including Shehzada. The ensemble star cast of the film also includes Kriti Sanon, Paresh Rawal, and Manisha Koirala, among others. It is a remake of the Allu Arjun-starrer successful entertainer Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo, which released in 2020.

The actor also reunites with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 co-star Kiara Advani in Satyaprem Ki Katha. He also has Aashiqui 3, and Kabir Khan’s next.
