One of the most iconic films till today, Qurbani has remained to be one of the cults for movie and music buffs. Hit songs, Zeenat Aman’s sexy and svelte style, and of course late Feroz Khan and late Vinod Khanna’s amazing acting, the 1980 film was directed and produced by Feroz Khan.  Now, celebrating the 42 years of its release, Fardeen Khan reminisced his father’s words about why the film was so important for him and his family.

Sharing a nostalgic memory about Qurbani, Fardeen Khan took to Twitter to share a series of posters of the film which also featured Zeenat Aman and Vinod Khanna. The actor wrote saying, “42 years since the release of #Qurbani. In FK’s own words, “Son, I had gambled my last shirt making this film. If it hadn’t worked we would’ve been on the street’s”. People 2day aren’t aware of what it took to make a film back then. Literally blood, sweat and tears.” Qurbani went on to become one of Feroz Khan’s biggest hits.


For the uninitiated, Qurbani was a story of a thief caught in a game of cons, love, friendship, and betrayal. It also starred Amjad Khan and Amrish Puri along with Shakti Kapoor and Aruna Irani in pivotal roles. Directed by

Speaking about Fardeen Khan, while he has been on a hiatus, he will soon be making a comeback in Bollywood. The actor underwent extreme transformation for his next, which is a sequel to his popular comedy No Entry and it will also star Anil Kapoor, and Salman Khan like the prequel. Directed by Anees Bazmee, the film is expected to go on floors by the end of this year or start of 2023.
